Experience the beauty of Big Bear from a great vantage point – on horseback. You can saddle-up year-round for hourly, half-day, sunset and overnight rides and tours through National Forest areas. Your kids will also love the pony rides that are available. For some people, the western mountain experience would not be complete without horses.

Baldwin lake Stables guarantees a good ride with their local guides and gentle horses. Open year round and offering the varied terrains available in the East Valley, these riding tours offer spectacular views. Baldwin Lake Stables can gear the tour to any level of riding experience. The Remote Location Ride is for the adventure seeker and begins deep in the wilderness (horses brought in by trailer) and takes you to the highest elevations with spectacular views. Pony rides and a petting zoo are available for children too young to ride independently. Reservations are suggested for the 1 and 2 hour rides and are required for the longer or remote tours.
